Position Overview

The Director of Development will lead the strategic effort to scale NMCIC’s fundraising engine, shaping and driving a multi-pronged strategy for a financially sustainable organization. The role advances NMCIC’s strategic imperatives to diversify funding sources. Working in close partnership with the CEO, the Capital Development Committee of the Board, and the broader team, the Director will raise both operating and investment (lending) capital across:

  • Government grants and loan capital;

  • Foundations, grants and program-related and mission-related investments (PRIs / MRIs);

  • High-net-worth donors including donor-advised funds (DAFs), planned giving, bequests, and charitable remainder trusts.
