Position Overview

The Therapist provides trauma-informed, survivor-centered individual and group therapy to primary and secondary survivors impacted by sexual violence. This position delivers therapeutic services consistent with current evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, SASNWNM's mission and philosophy, and all applicable federal and state laws, professional ethical standards, and grantor regulations.

The Therapist demonstrates an understanding of the dynamics and impact of sexual violence, including complex trauma, secondary victimization, and the continuum of sexual assault services. The position applies sound clinical judgment and evidence-based trauma treatment approaches while fostering a safe, empowering, and culturally responsive environment that promotes healing and recovery.
